WAIZ Plucked Instruments is an Italian lutherie workshop specializing in handcrafted ukuleles, banjoleles, guitars, and distinctive custom plucked instruments from its workshop in Comerio, Varese. Established from a foundation in formal lutherie training and artistic experimentation, WAIZ combines traditional instrument-making techniques with unconventional materials, original construction methods, and contemporary design. Its collection ranges from classic ukuleles to electric, travel, archtop, gourd, and banjo-style instruments, with each model developed to offer its own visual identity and tonal character.
