EBow

EBow is an innovative electronic guitar accessory designed to transform the way musicians create sustained, expressive sounds. Developed through years of experimentation with electricity, sound, vibration, and musical instruments, the EBow technology enables guitarists to produce continuous sustain and distinctive tones without relying solely on traditional picking techniques. The company’s innovative approach to guitar effects and performance tools has made EBow a unique part of the modern guitarist’s toolkit, offering new possibilities for sound exploration, experimental music, ambient textures, and expressive lead playing.

EBow’s history is rooted in hands-on experimentation and a passion for combining technology with music. Early inventions explored electrical circuits, mechanical devices, electronic instruments, and ways to make guitars interact with other sources of sound and vibration. This spirit of experimentation ultimately led to the development of the EBow, building on earlier discoveries involving electromagnetic interaction with guitar strings. Today, EBow represents a distinctive approach to guitar innovation, helping musicians explore sustained notes, harmonics, feedback-like effects, and creative sonic textures across a wide range of musical styles.
