ChickenPicks Guitar Picks were born from a guitarist’s search for better control, tone, and balance when traditional thin picks could not deliver the precision required for serious playing. Through years of experimentation with different materials and shapes, a thicker pick design made from high-quality thermosetting plastic emerged as the ideal solution. This material, sometimes described as a ceramic-like plastic, provides exceptional rigidity, durability, and tonal clarity. What began as handmade picks crafted for personal use eventually evolved into a family-run brand producing boutique guitar picks for electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and bass. Early production involved individually hand-shaped picks before manufacturing expanded using specialized molding processes in Europe, while each pick continues to be carefully hand-finished and inspected.
