Accusonus Inc

Accusonus, founded in 2013 in Patras, Greece, emerged as a pioneering force in AI-powered audio software, developing tools that transformed music production and audio repair workflows. Their flagship product, Regroover, utilized machine learning to deconstruct audio loops into individual stems, enabling producers to manipulate and remix elements with unprecedented flexibility. Complementing this innovation, the ERA suite offered intuitive, single-knob plugins for tasks like noise reduction and reverb removal, streamlining post-production processes for both professionals and content creators. Accusonus's technology gained traction among Grammy-winning producers and was integrated into major digital audio workstations and video editing platforms.

In February 2022, Meta Platforms Inc. acquired Accusonus for a reported €70–100 million, signaling a strategic move to enhance its audio capabilities within the metaverse ecosystem. This acquisition not only underscored the value of Accusonus's AI-driven solutions but also highlighted Greece's growing prominence in the global tech landscape. Post-acquisition, Accusonus announced plans to sunset its existing product lines, including the ERA Bundle and Regroover, by early 2023, with support and updates ceasing thereafter. This transition marked the end of Accusonus's direct offerings to the audio production community, as the company shifted focus to contribute to Meta's broader ambitions in immersive audio experiences.
